New Zealand

There were obviously a few different Moxon families who migrated to New Zealand but so far I have only found one "pioneer" family.

Moxon family of Palmerston North

This family which is in at least its fourth generation in New Zealand is descended from Edwin Moxon, born about 1854 in Cambridgeshire, UK.  Edwin Moxon married Emma Wood and they settled in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire.  I am informed by John Rosher Moxon, father of four including Archbishop David Moxon, that at least 2-3 of Edwin's children migrated to New Zealand.
